Maintenance and Administrative Workshop
   The maintenance workshops handle issues important to all cemeteries. Too often the small cemeterian feels he has no one to turn to for answers to his problems.  From moving and seeding to memorial installation, care and refinishing, this workshop helps your maintenance people understand the professional role they play in further servicing their community. Local extension agents, nurserymen and equipment dealers often participate.

   The administrative workshops provide valuable information by experienced industry instructors, sharing ideas that work for them. Topics range from handling customer complaints to solving collection problems. With the changes tax reform has brought to our industry, never has it been more important to be effective in this area. We also have outside professionals to assist attendees in designing more efficient and appropriate office procedures that will improve the level of service to the public.

Annual Convention
   Our annual convention has become the highlight of the VCA year. Usually formatted for the owner / manager, the meetings are always held at a location featuring points of interest for all family members. VCA offers programs that are pertinent and timely as to new developments in the industry. VCA also invites speakers from related industries having an impact on various areas affecting cemetery management. You will be exposed to a variety of information that could change the way you do business, helping you to operate more efficiently, as well as creating ideas for new programs an income opportunities.
